Aujourd’hui, la duchesse de Cambridge était dans le Surrey, aux Jardins de Wisley pour inaugurer la plaine de jeux pour enfants installée dans le RHS Garden Wisley. Ce jardin a été inspiré du jardin d’enfants dessiné par Kate Middleton lors du Chelsea Flower Show de cette année.

La duchesse de Cambridge était accompagnée de Mary Berry
La plaine de jeux Back To Nature, inaugurée aujourd’hui par la duchesse est un petit parc aménagé pour les enfants, au milieu des jardins de Wisley. Plusieurs éléments sont directement inspirés du jardin imaginé par la duchesse de Cambridge, comme le tronc creux et les fleurs sauvages champêtres. Les RHS Gardens sont des jardins entretenus par la Royal Horticultural Society dont la marraine est Mary Berry une personnalité et animatrice culinaire britannique. Pour l’occasion, Kate portait une robe bleu pâle à motifs floraux de la créatrice Emelia Wickstead.

Mary Berry et la duchesse de Cambridge ont passé l’après-midi ensemble. Elle sont même montées sur la remorque d’un tracteur, auprès d’enfants qui avaient décidé de s’amuser dans le parc. Les projets de jardins d’enfants font partie des objectifs de bien-être qu’essaie de mettre en place la RHS.
